We're giving French Toast a remake like never before and making an amazing pistachio butter version that will be the highlight of any breakfast!!
Just add your berry of choice. Here we go:
INGREDIENTS
- 4 slices brioche bread, about 1” thick
- 4 tbsp Peppertux Farms Original Pistachio Butter
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp butter
- Berries and pistachio crumbs to garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
- Spread Peppertux Farms Original Pistachio Butter on each slice of brioche bread.
- Join 2 slices of bread together like a sandwich and repeat for the remaining two slices.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk egg, milk and vanilla extract.
- Dip each sandwich into the milk mixture, ensure both sides are fully soaked.
- On a preheated skillet, add butter and swirl the bottom to coat the pan fully. Add the pistachio French toasts and cook on each side until golden brown.
- Garnish with berries and pistachio crumbs.
